Tomy Magnum Rescue Set

I am a fan of Tomy toys. They are built strong and lasts a very, very long time. This Magnum Patroller was purchased more than 10 years ago for my eldest son and has been passed to my second and third son. It still is working 100% and will probably be around when my kids have a son of their own. Over the years, we have collected 4 which I believe is part of a rescue set.

It is a very cool toy, it is similar to today's car transporters. When the hatches are opened, small cars can get inside the truck. It even lights up and makes a sound when batteries are installed.  This was purchased at Rustans Department store for five hundred pesos but it seems to be a discontinued product as I can't see any postings about this in the internet.

Minions - Despicable Me 2

These are the minion toys that were part of McDonald's happy meal the same year Despicable Me 2 was shown in theaters in Canada. We went to a lot of McDonald's location just to be able to get these. The first photo shows (from left) Stuart Blaster and Phil Jelly Whistle

The following photo includes (from left) Tim Giggling, Dave Banana Babbler,  Jerry Whistle and Tom Babbler

The other minions that we did not collect are Purple Minion Giggling and Evil Minion Noise Maker

Too bad we are missing one of the violet characters (Purple Minion Giggling).
