"Billy" is the name my kids gave this stuffed toy. It has been
beside my youngest son when he sleeps for about two years now.

Star Wars Clone Trooper Blaster
A week after last year's Halloween, we chanced upon a Walmart sale and
they are selling all Halloween items at 50-75 percent discount. We got some
costumes for the kids so they have something new to wear this year. We got an
Iron man and a Star Wars Clone Trooper costume which really was a steal. The
kids were excited to see the costumes when we got home. In less than 5 minutes
after they saw the items, I realized that I would need to spend some more as
the kids requested for the gadgets that are required for their costume. They
said the Iron man costume requires a repulsor hand weapon and the Storm trooper required a
blaster. Both items are sold for at least $20. Luckily, while shopping at
Winners yesterday, I saw a blaster on sale for 12 bucks. It was the last item
on the shelf so I immediately placed it to our shopping cart and paid for it.
Now I only have to keep an eye out for the Iron man repulsor when they go on
sale.
Note: Also shown in the picture is the LEGO Movie - Getaway
Glider (70800) Lego set available for $15.99

Cars Mini Characters Collection
Went to a community sale at Markland Woods this summer. we got some good deals like the arc lamp, video games, chairs, wall frames as well as a mini display cabinet that we got for $4. We were going to use it for my bell collection but it was too small. The bell collection ended up in a display cabinet we purchased from Ikea.
We decided to use the small display cabinet to house the small Disney Cars characters that my kids collected. Some of the characters in the collection are Mater, Sarge, Francesco Guido, Doc the Hudson Hornet, Snot Rod, Lightning McQueen (of course), etc.
Here are some photos.

Meccano Super Construction Set
This is a Meccano Super Construction Set that we got from Costco as a Christmas present for Aloysius'. He was about 8 years old that time and did not want to play with this which seemed complicated for him. He was loyal to his Lego toys I guess. After so many years, We found it stored in our ottoman in the basement. I showed it to the boys and no one is interested in assembling it. Lito put on his toy building hat and assembled this helicopter.
It can be made into a lot of different things, but may be it will be sometime again before it will happen.
