My first Godson in Canada is the son of my cousin Neil. His name is Liam and he turned one last September 11, 2015. We were invited to his birthday party which theme was "One in a Minion". It was held at RB Planners located at 7895 Tranmere Drive, Unit 7, Mississauga, Ontario L5S 1V9

One of our children was about to dispose a canvass he used in school. He made a mistake on some parts of the canvass and decided to use a new one. Lito decided to continue what my son has started using a heavier or darker pen to cover the blemishes that were made.

Little Einstein's Pat Pat Rocket

This is one of the first toys I bought for my kids in Toronto. I got it at Zeller's located at Overlea Blvd. I do not remember the price but I know I got a good deal for it. This is a Pat Pat Rocket from the show Little Einstein's made by the company Fisher-Price. It comes with 4 characters- Leo, Annie, Quincy and June. It plays various classical music pieces along with Rocket sound effects

It was my eldest son's favorite show when he was 5 years old and he even have a video in Youtube singing the shows theme song. 

My children have grown now, the youngest at 6 and they are not into Little Einsteins anymore. I found out on eBay that this particular toy is a collectors item now and is being sold for at least a $100. I recently posted it in Kijiji hoping to sell it and get my investment back.

Boardgames - Sorry

It was probably 25 years ago when I last played the board game Sorry. My husband usually make weekend sleepovers at his cousins place and this is one of the games they liked to play. 

We bought one last Friday afternoon at Target in Cloverdale Mall. It was on sale for a little over CAD 10. I know that it is CAD 20 at Toys"R"Us so we thought it was a good deal. I did not expect it to be a hit with my 3 little boys who are into Xbox, iPad and computers. My husband and I were very happy that we had a weekend where the boys are staying put at the living room playing and enjoying. 

The Sorry board game was published by Parker Brothers before. It is now published by Hasbro. They also made some changes from the old format. There is now only 3 pawns per color and they have added the ice and fire feature to make the game a little exciting.

Minecraft Survival Pack With Steve Action Figure

We wanted to buy some pillows which were on sale for CAD 2.50 at Target. They boys did not want to come so we promised to buy them a toy worth CAD 20 if they go. There wasn't really anything interesting for them when they checked the toys section and all they were interested in was the Minecraft set kinda like the Lego mini figures. We were not happy paying CAD 20++ for it but we did not want to be branded as parents who does not keep promises, we had to. 

Lesson learned: Do not make promises that are not clear cut. I should have said any toy worth CAD 20 and parent approved LOL. 

Board Games - Words With Friends

I loved playing Word With Friends on my iPhone. It is a free app that you can download from the Apple iTunes store. When I saw this boardgame in the clearance section of Target, I bought it on impulse. 

I hope I can find time and someone to play with it.
